Who is Edson Juruá?

The son of caboclo farmers, Edson was born in Porto Walter, in the heart of Acre, a region deeply marked by the culture of the forest and the traditional knowledge of medicinal plants.

From childhood, he grew up in direct contact with nature, learning from his parents about the use of plants and the care of natural medicines. This knowledge, transmitted in a simple and ancestral way, shaped his relationship with the forest and with the medicines of the earth.

Today, Edson is widely recognized in the Juruá Valley region as an experienced rapé maker. Among those who work with and receive his medicines, he is often regarded as one of the most respected producers in Brazil, thanks to the quality, strength, and balance of his preparations.

With dedication and deep respect for the traditions of the forest, Edson shares his knowledge and medicines through Flores do Astral.

How did the work with rapé medicine begin?

The path with rapé began in 2007, when Edson felt an inner calling to prepare the medicine, initially for personal use and to share with close friends.

Over time, those who experienced his rapé began to recognize the quality and strength of his preparations, which naturally increased the demand for his medicines.

In 2015, with the creation of the Associação Universo do Amor, Edson expanded his production while always maintaining artisanal care and respect for the traditional preparation process.

In addition to rapé, Edson has also been a maker of Ayahuasca for more than 15 years, establishing himself as a true guardian of the ancestral medicines of the forest.

Where are the medicines produced?

All medicines are carefully produced within the Amazon rainforest, in Acre, Brazil.

The preparations are made by the hands of Edson Juruá, a caboclo from the Juruá Valley, respecting the timing of the plants, the traditional preparation processes, and the spiritual connection with the forest.

This origin guarantees authenticity, strength, and a direct connection with the living roots of forest medicine.
