Aromatherapy considers Palo Santo as an oil that promotes not only spiritual cleansing but also physical cleansing, recommended for detoxification processes. But, also indicated in cases of torsions. To understand the benefits of Palo Santo, we need to understand its composition. Wood has three main substances: Limonene, Terpineol and Menthofuran. Limonene is present in almost 63% of wood and essential oil, being responsible for characteristics such as creativity and combating anxiety. Terpineol is bactericidal, fungicidal and tonic and imparts balance and boosts immunity. Menthofuran, on the other hand, is antiviral and anticongestive, and also encourages greater reflexivity for those who use it. With all these benefits, Palo Santo, in natura, became known as a “Sacred Tree”. It is highly recommended to bring lightness to environments and people and for those who wish to enter meditative states more easily.
How to use: always light only one side of the wood until a flame forms. Use a candle or a continuous fire source like the stove as it may take a while to ignite. To put it out and leave only the ember, lightly shake the wooden rod and let the smoke flow.
Important: Palo Santo in natura does not burn continuously. It is necessary to relight it if it goes out. After erasing, you can also save it to use it at another time.
